New Minibus for Corsham Primary School - 8th December 2009

A Primary School in Wiltshire have finally received Molly the Minibus after more than a year of fundraising organised by the Parent and teacher Association at Corsham Primary School.

Pupils from the two sites of Corsham School, Boardwood and Pound Pill will use the brand new minibus.

The fundraising events included a summer fete and a winter fete, a sponsored walk and a Winter Wonderland, which raised thousands of pounds towards the cost of the Minibus.

The 16-seater minibus came from a Chippenham based company. The school have put down a payment on the Minibus of £8,000 from the money raised and will lease the minibus for the next 3 years. Having their own minibus will mean that the school will no longer have to rely on coach hire and taxis to transport then on outings.
