Ford Launches New Minibus - 19th August 2010

Ford has launched a new Transit Minibus, the latest model Transit Minibus has 13 seats with an option to upgrade to 15 or 17 seats.

The new minibus is on-sale from £25,400 and there is a selection of three 2.4-litre TDCi engines including the new 100PS unit and the 140PS, both offer a six-speed transmission.

The Transit Minibus weighs in at 3.5 tonnes, which allows it to be driven on a category B car licence (double check you licence as some newer licences may not allow this).

In terms of safety the Transit Minibus has ABS, ESP and airbags for both the driver and passenger, the 15 and 17 seat minibuses include the latest generation seatbelts that fit both adults and children.
